Good article, Michael.

We often talk about forgiveness as a personal journey, but sometimes healing comes when someone else acknowledges the harm. It's a rare and unforgettable experience.

So many of us carry around hurts that were never acknowledged, and we grow around them like trees around barbed wire.

Happy Thursday Michael

I like what you wrote about forgiveness being a "personal journey." I've not heard or read it expressed in those words yet it's accurate. What you write next was so true: ... sometimes healing comes when someone else acknowledges the harm." Especially, if we never expected them to do so.

We'd all likely be gob smacked if we received one apology that we never expect to happen.

"... like trees around barbed wire." Wow, that makes you visualize and think.

Happy Thursday to Neela, too. I hope the week is going well for you and your family.

The barbed wire image gets me every time, too.

So far, so good - thank you for asking, Michael :)
