Responsibility and leadership accountability are difficult, especially communicating it in public, which is why you don’t see it as often as it’s due and we’d like to see it.

Dan Campbell isn’t that person though.

The Detroit Lions head coach was recently willing to step into a noble show of leadership and in the process, despite his discomfort and emotional pain, he exhibited strength of character and high-level professionalism towards his organization, the media, the public and maybe, most importantly, the people he leads.
